How does booking work?

Fill out our contact form specifying the property you'd like, your dates and the number of guests. Your request is reviewed by our team, who will reply within 24h to confirm availability and send you a tailored offer followed by a rental contract. The deposit, the security deposit and the banking details are set out in that contract: the booking is confirmed according to the conditions stated there, once the deposit has been received by bank transfer.

What is the minimum stay?

We accept stays from 2 nights in low season. In high season (Christmas, New Year, school holidays), a 7-night minimum applies. For bespoke events, contact us directly - we review each request individually.

Question 3

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Accepted Answer

Check-in is from 4 PM in low season, and from 6 PM in high season. Check-out is before 11 AM. Your Chalet Manager or House Manager will be on site to welcome you. Adjustments may be possible depending on availability.

What's included in the price?

Accepted Answer

The price includes full privatisation of the property, a dedicated House Manager, a housekeeper present throughout the day, concierge service before and during your stay, as well as check-in and check-out cleaning. The private chef and additional services (transfers, massages, activities) are available as options.

Is the private chef included or optional?

Accepted Answer

The private chef is offered as an option, on request. Former executive chefs of fine-dining restaurants, they design fully bespoke menus tailored to your tastes and your group. Contact us to learn more.

Question 6

Is the property fully privatised?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. Each of our properties is rented exclusively to your group for the full duration of the stay. No outside guests, no passing through - the property is entirely yours. Each residence is also secured by alarm, video surveillance and high-level access control, for your complete peace of mind.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Our standard cancellation policy is as follows. The applicable conditions are set out in the rental contract provided at the time of booking. More than 30 days before arrival and within 48 hours of booking: 100% refund of the total amount. Between 7 and 30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total amount. Less than 7 days before arrival: no refund, the full amount remains due.

Do you accept pets?

Accepted Answer

Pets may be accepted under conditions depending on the property and the dates. A supplement per animal and an increase in the security deposit will be requested and detailed in the rental contract. Please let us know at the time of your booking request.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every property is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, included in the stay.

Question 10

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

A deposit (acompte) of between 20% and 50% of the total amount is requested at the time of booking. The balance must be settled at the latest between 20 and 30 days before the arrival date, according to the conditions set out in the rental contract. Payment is made by bank transfer to the TREVELYAN account. The banking details are communicated in the contract. A security deposit (caution) is also requested by bank transfer. Its amount and terms are specified in the rental contract.

Is the pool heated? When is it open?

The 20-metre outdoor pool is heated and generally open from late May to early October depending on weather conditions. For off-season stays, contact us to check availability.

Question 12

Can the heliport be used?

Accepted Answer

The château has an operational heliport in the grounds. Its use is subject to current aviation regulations and must be planned in advance. Our team will guide you through the formalities.

Is the château suitable for a corporate event or a wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with an important nuance: we prioritise events in small numbers, in an intimate and discreet spirit. The château is not a conventional reception venue - it is an exceptional private residence. For weddings, we accompany intimate celebrations. For companies, residential seminars, executive retreats and prestige evenings are at the heart of what we do. We work in partnership with Revibe for event organisation.

Can we visit the château before booking?

We arrange discovery visits by appointment for serious projects. Contact our team to agree on a date.

Question 15

Is the collection of cars (F1, James Bond) accessible?

Accepted Answer

The collection is part of the château experience and is accessible to residents during their stay. If you have a particular model in mind, feel free to mention it when booking - otherwise, let yourself be surprised on arrival. Certain vehicles are also available for hire via Idyllic Cars.

How do you invoice a corporate stay (VAT, quotes)?

The château is located in Haute-Savoie, on the French side, which allows French companies to deduct VAT. We provide tailored quotes with invoicing adapted to corporate needs. Contact us for any specific request.

Is the château on the French or Swiss side?

Accepted Answer

Château de Neydens is located in France, in Haute-Savoie (Saint-Cergues). This location offers several advantages: French companies can deduct VAT, and for international visitors wishing to stay longer in the Geneva region, the French side offers more favourable visa conditions. All of it just 30 minutes from central Geneva.

How far is it from Geneva airport?

The château is about 50 minutes from Geneva airport and 30 minutes from the city centre. VIP transfers are available on request via Idyllic Cars.

Question 19

What are the château's stables? Are they accessible?

Accepted Answer

The historic stables are part of the estate's living heritage and are accessible during your stay. Depending on your wishes, we can organise: a discovery walk around the stables to meet the horses, painting workshops with the horses for children, or - for corporate stays - equine therapy sessions with our partner HOPE Association, a rare and deeply restorative approach.
